Welcome to my thoughts on teen literature. I care about good writing, interesting characters, and intriguing plots.
I strive to review positively--I wouldn't review a book I didn't like--but I will also point out what I view as minor flaws.
Occasionally, I will post about a book I didn't like, but typically that only happens when I'm writing a series of reviews, like reviewing all the Morris Award shortlist.
I do not indicate spoilers; if you haven't read the book and don't want to be spoiled, you'd be best-served by not reading my review.

Yes! You know, I kept looking at the cover for North of Beautiful and thinking "this look familiar, but from where?" (and same with Evermore)- but never made the connection to each other. Good catch!
Wow, those are VERY similar. How crazy!
