I seem to be in a book slump. I think it's because I'm reading a lot of historical fiction right now, as part of the book I'm writing. Because of that, I can't seem to find anything that's "good enough" to tear me away from the historical fiction.
So, I'm asking all of you: what recently-published teen book do you think I should read next? Fiction or nonfiction is fine--in fact, I've been trying to read more nonfiction lately.
Thanks!

"Graceling," "The Hunger Games," or "The Knife of Never Letting Go" are all YA favourites of mine from this past winter (and are listed in ascending order of dark-and-dreariness). I'm currently in the middle of "Marcelo in the Real World" and am loving it so far.
Good luck! :)
I just finished "Hunger Games" today and it's life changing. I'm reading "Jelicoe Road" right now and finding it hard to get in to, but have heard good things, so am trying to stick with it. "Nation" by Terry Pratchett is particularly fine also.
