Due to the last-minute push to ALA Midwinter, I'll be taking a hiatus for the next two weeks. I'll be back after the conference to talk about serving on the Printz Committee, what my plans are in 2011, and of course, reviews!

Welcome to my thoughts on teen literature. I care about good writing, interesting characters, and intriguing plots.
I strive to review positively--I wouldn't review a book I didn't like--but I will also point out what I view as minor flaws.
Occasionally, I will post about a book I didn't like, but typically that only happens when I'm writing a series of reviews, like reviewing all the Morris Award shortlist.
I do not indicate spoilers; if you haven't read the book and don't want to be spoiled, you'd be best-served by not reading my review.
